When Color World Housepainting merged with Five Star Painting, Color World has acquired access to Five Star Painting’s computerized estimating software that allows very accurate on-site bids. Since the merge, Color World Housepainting now Five Star Painting has perfected the art of interior quoting and painting. See below for how our interior painting process works!
Step 1:
Prepping the job site. All surfaces, carpets and furniture to be worked around will be moved away from the walls and protected with canvas or plastic drop cloths. Tape will be used to protect any areas where drop cloths would be impractical.
Step 2:
Surface preparation. Any nick, ding or nail hole smaller than a dime will be filled prior to painting. Cracks will also be filled. Then our team will caulk around baseboards and trim as needed.
Step 3:
Painting. The actual paint job doesn’t begin until our teams complete thorough preparation. We use the best quality paints and applicators to ensure that your paint job is beautiful and lasting.
Step 4:
Cleaning. On multi-day jobs, we pack up and pick up the job site at the end of the day so our supplies never hinder your day-to-day life. At the end of every job we complete a comprehensive site cleanup to ensure that the only thing you notice after we leave is your beautiful new paint job.
Step 5:
Final inspection. After the painting has been completed and before the crews pack up their equipment, we do a final walk-around with the customer to ensure all contracted areas are painted to the client’s satisfaction.
Step 6:
Survey. After the painting is completed to the customer’s satisfaction and all cleanup and inspections have been finished, we ask our customers to fill out a customer satisfaction survey to ensure that all work has been performed to meet or exceed their expectations and standards.
